Combine both Level I and Level II to earn both your Wellness Inventory Facilitator and Wellness Inventory Coach Certifications, as well as to become eligible to sit for the exam to become a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach.
The full Level I & Level II Training is 82 hours, and includes 6 hours of asynchronous learning (outside of live class) on practical coaching skills, and 15 hours of asynchronous learning (videos) on Health & Wellness Lifestyles.
National Certification: "HealthWorld Online, Inc. - Wellness Inventory Certification Training" has been awarded "Pending Approval" status by the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC). Pending approval programs have demonstrated that they meet all requirements for NBHWC approval but have not yet graduated a cohort.

He was the co-creator of the first major online network focused on alternative health and wellness, Healthy.net (www.healthy.net), launched in early 1996. Jim is the co-creator of the online Wellness Inventory program and the highly regarded Wellness Inventory Certification Training. With over 35 years of experience in the fields of human potential, wellness and holistic health, he has been a leader in the wellness revolution via training, publishing and the Internet media. Co-author of five books, he was executive editor of the influential Alternative Medicine: The Definitive Guide, and is publisher of Healthy Update, a weekly e-newsletter on wellness, mindfulness, and integrative health, now in its 20th year.
A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Tennessee in anthropology, his interests have taken him from archeological expeditions to Mayan ruins in the Yucatan to years of intensive study of yoga and meditation in India. Jim has served on numerous boards, including the President's Advisory Council for Bastyr University, the Board of Trustees of the American University of Complementary Medicine and the Institute of Natural Medicine, and the advisory boards of Nourish America, Academy for Guided Imagery, the National Workforce Health Economics Summit, and the National Wellness, Prevention and Fitness Conference.
In 2016 he received the Circle of Leadership Award from the National Wellness Institute for outstanding contributions to the field of wellness. Jim lives in Los Angeles, CA with his wife of 29 years, Nancy.
Marilena, MS, CHC, NBC-HWC, Director of Training for HealthWorld Online, integrates best practices from over 25 years experience in counseling, wellness coaching and training in the areas of personal growth and development, nutrition, health, energy psychology, as well as marketing and management. Author of Quantum Coaching Questions (2013), Marilena is a Board Certified Coach (BCC) with a Specialty in Wellness Coaching by the Center for Credentialing & Education, and is a Certified Wellness Inventory Coach. She holds degrees in psychology and journalism from New York University and completed her Masters degree in Counseling Psychology at the State University of New York.
Colleen is a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach and registered yoga teacher who is passionate about helping people live healthy, vibrant, and authentic lives.
Colleen has extensive experience leading comprehensive, integrated approaches for creating cultures of wellbeing in higher education, government and for-profit organizations. She advocated for, established, and directed Reebok International’s award-winning employee wellness program from 1987 – 1993. She also initiated and led the development of a comprehensive student wellbeing program, liveWELL for WELLWVU at West Virginia University. The experiential-based curriculum that Colleen and colleague Shannon Foster developed for an academic course, “Enhancing Wellbeing”, based upon the Wellness Inventory, won an award for wellness innovation from the American College Health Association.
